Two manufacturer-reported BAND-FAST data-centre examples illustrate procurement and installation considerations. These are BAND-IT IDEX’s Western Europe and APAC examples, not original Australian customer case studies.
Western Europe multi-facility campus
The manufacturer describes a specification change from a multi-component double-wrap tie-and-sleeve arrangement to PPA-coated BAND-FAST following an on-site demonstration. It reports a call-off order for 24,000 pieces plus installation tools for the second half of the facility build.
The reported benefits concern installation steps, QA, tray use and late-stage routing flexibility. The document does not provide an Australian project reference or a measured labour-saving percentage for this example.
APAC hyperscale expansion
The manufacturer reports 20,000 BAND-FAST pieces and two DT2000 tools, with a first shipment in December 2025 and staged volume through 2026. It describes an initial lot delivered approximately three weeks after the purchase order and a reduction of more than 80% in sizing and quantity calculations compared with traditional cleats.
Those are the manufacturer’s project-specific statements. The source does not identify the country or customer, and the APAC example must not be presented as an Australian installation. Its shipment timing is not a current delivery commitment.
Questions for your project review
- Can the proposed installation be completed after the cables are pulled, with the access available?
- Which band, clip, wrap, support and cable formation match the required test evidence?
- What quantities and staged-delivery dates need confirmation for this project?
- Which installation checks and tool records will the project’s QA plan require?
The case studies explain the manufacturer’s reported experience. Use the actual test reports and project specification to establish technical suitability; neither a case-study outcome nor a general family reference establishes every assembly’s performance.
